Li is the director of the UC Irvine division of Calit2. He is a professor of electrical engineering and computer science; biomedical engineering; and chemical engineering and materials science. He is also director of the Integrated Nanosystems Research Facility, which is dedicated to the development of small-scale systems, and he leads the LifeChips graduate program, focused on micro- and nanotechnology in the life sciences.

Bachman is co-founder and associate director of UCI's Integrated Nanosystems Research Facility, a premier clean room research facility devoted to micro and nanosystems engineering. Bachman maintains an active research program in sensors, MEMS, BioMEMS, micro-instruments and nanotechnology for applications in communications and life sciences. He has initiated and lead microsystems-based research projects for DARPA, NIH, NSF and UC Discovery, as well as for major contracts from industry affiliates such as Texas Instruments, MOOG, Raytheon and Hitachi Chemical Research. He was awarded 2003 Outstanding Professor in Engineering by UCI for his teaching accomplishments; and was awarded the UCI Innovation Award in 2005 for his research accomplishments.

Hector is principal software architect and engineer of the Telios project. He is also product manager for various deployments of Telios technology, including those planned for Calit2 and the Share Our Selves Medical Clinic in Costa Mesa, CA. A UCI Bren:ICS alumnus, his interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous Computing, Software Engineering, and Web Architecture.

Jakkree is a senior in Computer Science at UCI Bren:ICS. A SURF-IT Fellow, he is furthering work in scalable interfaces and mobile hardware communications. His interests include HCI, ubiquitous computing, mobile devices, and web applications.

Paul Marc

Paul was the business and research coordinator for Calit2's telemedicine projects. He served as a liaison between the building's technology researchers and the UCI Physicians group, as well as outside organizations such as industry, medical providers and community groups. He is now a medical student at UC Irvine.

Ray helped develop prototypes for hardware-software interfaces as a Project Scientist at Calit2. He is now Lecturer of Computer Science at UC Riverside.
